If you
have a financial need for a reduced lunch, applications will be handed
out to your child at the beginning of the school year
and available throughout the year in
your campus office.
Online Pre Payments
Anna ISD’s
Child Nutrition
Department is excited to provide parents a convenient, easy and secure
online prepayment service to deposit money into your child’s school meal
account at any time. This service also provides parents the ability to
view your child’s account balance through a web site called
MyNutrikids.com. Parent will have the ability to print out a copy
of their child’s eating history report. This history report will show
you all dates and times that your child has purchased a breakfast and or
lunch within the past thirty days.

services:

Simply go
to the district web site at
http://www.annaisd.net

Ø
In order
to use the online prepayment service, a small convenience fee for each
transaction will be assessed to cover the bank fees. The convenience
fee is $1.75 per deposit transaction. Parents placing money into
multiple meal accounts will only be assessed the $1.75 fee once per
deposit transaction. Anna ISD will not profit from the use of
this site.
You
may continue to make advance payments via check, which should be made
payable to Anna ISD. Please write your child’s full name
on the check, put it in an envelope with the childs name, and student ID
#, and place it in one of our lunch drop boxes.
Charge Policy
The Child
Nutrition Department recommends the following guidelines for the Anna
ISD:
Elementary:
Students
are allowed up to two (2) reimbursable meal charges at a time. (When
charges occur, a written notification to parents will be sent home). In
the event that a child arrives without money and still maintains a
current balance of two prior charges, a modified meal at a reduced price
will be provided and additional charges will not be allowed until
payment is received. (Modified meal: breakfast – milk, lunch - cheese
sandwich and a milk)
Ala carte items are not permitted to be
charged.
Secondary:
(No Charges)
Under the
(No Charge) policy, a student will not be allowed to purchase any meal
on credit. In the event that a student is carrying a negative account
balance or does not have any or enough money to purchase a meal for that
day, a modified meal at a reduced price will be provided. Additional
charges will not be allowed until payment is received. (Modified meal:
cheese sandwich and a milk)
We do not
allow any charges after May 1st.
According
to the Texas Department of Agriculture, schools are not required to
serve children who receive reduced-priced or full-price meals but do not
have the money to pay.
